Zeekr has unveiled a global strategy for its dual flagship 9-Series models, the Zeekr 9X and Zeekr 009 Grand, in Hong Kong, marking a new phase in its overseas expansion in the premium new energy vehicle segment.
The NEV brand of Geely Holding Group said Hong Kong serves as a key gateway between the Chinese mainland and global markets and an important benchmark for luxury automotive brands expanding internationally.
The company also said its cumulative global deliveries surpassed 800,000 units as of June 16, 2026.
In Hong Kong, Zeekr said it held a 40.7 percent share of the luxury vehicle segment between January and May 2026, ranking first among luxury automotive brands.
The Zeekr 009 was the city’s best-selling luxury MPV, while the Zeekr 7X led luxury SUV sales.
In other overseas markets, Zeekr said it remained a leading premium EV brand. It was the best-selling luxury pure-electric MPV brand in Thailand in 2025 and retained the top position through May 2026.
In Malaysia, it ranked first among luxury pure-electric brands over the same period, while in Australia it led the luxury SUV segment priced above AUD 65,000. In Mexico, the Zeekr 7X was the top-selling luxury EV model in April and May.
At the expo, Zeekr is showcasing five models across its premium lineup, covering family, executive and flagship segments.
The Zeekr 9X, an ultra-luxury flagship SUV built on the SEA-S architecture, features a 900V silicon carbide electric drive system with peak output above 1,030 kW.
The company said the model uses multiple high-strength structural designs and up to 2,000 MPa steel. It recently opened pre-sales in the Middle East and will expand into Latin America, Central Asia and Europe.
The Zeekr 009 Grand, an ultra-luxury four-seat MPV, features a die-cast C-ring body structure and a safety-focused cabin architecture. It is equipped with executive rear seats with massage and heating functions.
The right-hand-drive version of the Zeekr 009 Grand will launch in Hong Kong in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Zeekr 8X, a super hybrid SUV based on the SEA-S architecture, also made its Hong Kong debut, covering performance, intelligence, safety and comfort features.
Zeekr said it is expanding its global operational system across R&D, product planning, marketing and aftersales services. Its overseas presence now spans more than 60 cities worldwide.
