Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang attended a symposium on science-based fiscal management in Hefei, the capital of Anhui province, from Tuesday to Wednesday.
He emphasized the need to enhance fiscal work to better serve and support the development of Chinese modernization.
Ding called for implementing a more proactive fiscal policy, with emphasis on promoting stable economic growth.
