The 18th Taicang Day celebration was successfully hosted in Munich, Germany, on April 16, drawing more than 300 delegates from both China and Germany to deliberate on various cooperation opportunities and mark the commencement of a fresh set of joint projects.

The event, held for its 18th consecutive year, has shifted over the years from investment promotion to a comprehensive dialogue covering economic, cultural, and city-level exchanges. It now emphasizes a two-way model of “bringing in and going global”, evolving from project-based collaboration to a holistic ecosystem fostering industrial synergy, talent development, cultural integration, and innovation.

The day before, Germany also witnessed the convening of a summit focusing on Sino-German SMEs, with the goal of advancing deeper and more pragmatic collaboration between the two nations. Watch the video to see what the participants had to say.
